Define Flowchart and describe various symbols used in flowchart.

Flowchart:- 

A flow chart is a type of diagram that represents algorithm, workflow or process. The flow chart shows the steps as boxes of various kinds, and their order by connecting the boxes with arrows. This diagrammatic representation illustrated a solution model to a given problem.   

The symbols are:-

             OVAL - Used to markup the starting and ending point.

ARROW - Used for connection.     

                                                          

3)

Parallelogram - Used for input and output information.    

                           

4)

Rectangle - Used to represent single step (Process).              

            

5)

Rhombus - Used for branching or decision making.
